The Royal Oak have done it again with yet another accolade to add to their list. In September they were announced as the winners of the Good Pub Guide 2014’s “Berkshire Dining Pub of the Year”.
The book describes the pub as “a handsome old inn with beamed and panelled rooms, lovely flowers, local beers, imaginative modern bar food, friendly service and seats in a pretty garden”.
Rob McGill has been at the helm for over three years now and has returned the Oak to its former glory days as the hub of the village and a fantastic, family-friendly spot for delicious food or a wide range of local, quality drinks.
