Walking
The landscape is varied and there are walking routes to suit all ages and fitness levels.
The Ridgeway forms our northern boundary and is extremely popular with walkers. All rights of way are well marked and the Estate works closely with West Berkshire Council and local footpath wardens.
The Estate has also granted public access over Ashampstead (A Stroll around Ashampstead Common , Veteran Trees on Ashampstead Common ) and Burnt Hill Commons(Veteran Trees on Burnt Hill Common ). The commons management is overseen by a committee of local residents with input from the West Berkshire Countryside Society with whom the Estate works closely.

Equestrian
There are many well marked bridleways across the estate that are regularly enjoyed by local horse riders, from open down land to the north of the Estate and pretty woodland to the south.

The area also benefits from the nearby Cullinghood Equestrian Centre and Hall Place Equestrian Centre.
Horse & Pony grazing including stabling is sometimes available to rent as well
