We have cut trees and pot grown trees. Cut trees are between 1.2m and 4m and come in 2 varieties.
Norway Spruce, a ‘traditional’ pine fragranced tree that is pruned to enhance its natural cone shape. If it is kept cool and watered well it will hold its needles as well as any other variety.
Nordman Fir, a tree with deep green, glossy tiered branches it has a dense bushy shape and is well known for holding its needles.
Our pot grown trees come in Norway Spruce and Nordman Fir as well as Blue Spruce.
Blue Spruce, is a speciality of Yattendon and has beautiful steel blue needles that have a silvery shimmer. It is hard to get this blue colour but our soils at Yattendon suit this variety really well.
We have a range of new activities for 2024. These include, wreath making, axe throwing, horse and carriage rides, and performances from the Rock Choir and VoxSonix. Go to our events page for more information and keep an eye on our social media pages
The trees will be standing up out of nets and grouped by size and variety.
Walk amongst the trees and once you have found ‘the one’ take it to the top of the yard where the team will net it for you. Please don’t take the tag off the tree.
Once it has been netted the tree will be taken to the collection point and you will be given a ticket.
You are now free to wander through the barn and look at the wreaths, lights and decorations or grab some food.
Once you are ready, take your ticket to the till and pay. Your tree will be waiting for you at the front of the shop.
If you need any advice or help carrying the tree the team will be available to assist you.
